An avid hunter and sportsman and NRA member, Perry Bailey is a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and is the only candidate in the race with a voting record to prove his commitment to securing, and strengthening our gun rights. 

Perry, if elected, will also be introducing legislation to create an additional Second Amendment Tax Free Holiday, in the Spring of each year to waive sales tax on firearms, ammunition, firearm accessories and gun safes.

"Mississippians are taxed enough as it is, they need at least two opportunity to purchase the required equipment to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights that have been threatened for far too long without yet another tax- and they should have this opportunity more than once per year" Bailey said.

Perry Bailey is pro-life and believes life begins at conception. Mississippi is the safest state in America for an unborn child and as state representative, he will fight to ensure that never changes. 

As state representative in '23, Perry was proud to be available to his constituents and transparent about the work being done in THEIR capitol. If elected, Perry will remain accessible and accountable and ensure any constituent who seeks to be involved in their government process can be. 

A farmer himself, Perry knows firsthand that the farmers in our district and across the state need relief. With over three decades of experience in land management, agriculture and farming as well as a degree in Agriculture Technology Engineering & Business, Perry is uniquely qualified to serve as the advocate for the farmers of District 23 and beyond. 

Safe and efficient roads and bridges are vital and as state representative Perry Bailey fought for, and acquired, in excess of $600 million dollars of investments into our roads and bridges. There is more to do, and Perry will once again use his existing relationships with key incumbent members to get more funds to continue repairing and revitalizing our traffic infrastructure across the district.  

Perry's record is clear: When it comes to Mississippi tax dollars- PROTECT THEM. Perry was part of fights to ensure the budget was balanced and no taxes or fees were raised on the hardworking people of Mississippi.
